FEBEX and SULZER announce the development of a competitive phosphoric acid recycling
process.

A joint offer for the flat screen (LCD) industry.

BEX and BUCHS (Switzerland), 26 November 2007

FEBEX and SULZER have announced the successful development of a competitive process
for the recycling of spent phosphoric acid used in the manufacture of flat screens.

FEBEX, Europe's leading manufacturer of ultra-pure phosphoric acid for electronics,
and SULZER CHEMTECH, a world-renowned specialist in separation, mixing and
purification technology, announced the creation of a cooperation venture in this
area in November 2006.

Following several months' work, lengthy testing and hundreds of analyses, both
companies are now in a position to announce that they have developed a unique
process to recycle this waste phosphoric acid, which has a very high aluminium and
molybdenum content. A joint package will be offered to LCD flat screen
manufacturers in Asia and the rest of the world. This highly cost-effective
solution fulfils manufacturers' requirements more efficiently as regards the
recycling of phosphoric acid from the manufacture of liquid crystal display (LCD)
flat screens.

This unique process offers end-users a phosphoric acid with the same
physico-chemical characteristics as the initial acid due to an excellent
purification yield.
It consists of a high-tech series of fully-computerised purification operations
based on crystallisation.

\"This process is clearly intended to operate in close proximity to end-users,\"
stated Thierry VASSALO, FEBEX General Manager, \"if not on their actual production
sites, as in the case of the recycling of organic solvents. It should afford a very
significant reduction in the purchasing cost of phosphoric acid for flat screen
manufacturers\".

\"Our agreement with Febex is essentially based on the combination of our process
guaranteeing the very latest purification techniques, for which SULZER is the
world's leading specialist, with Febex's process and product expertise\", added
Manfred STEPANSKI, SULZER Technical and Sales Manager.

About Febex:
Phosphorus Specialties manufacturer Febex, a CECA/ARKEMA Group subsidiary, is one of
the world leaders in the production of top-quality phosphoric acid, used in the
high-tech field of formulations for electronics applications (semiconductors, chips,
printed circuits, flat screens), as well as sodium hypophosphite.

About Sulzer:
Sulzer Chemtech is the leader in the separation column and static mixing technology
market. SULZER is present around the world with sales offices, engineering,
production and customer support facilities. Sulzer Chemtech develops solutions
